How It Works

Not In The Guidebooks is creating the world’s most accessible marketplace for premium, unique, local  authentic travel experiences. How it works is really quite simple, just select the city or region you are going to and choose the experiences that appeal most to you. You can either book directly online, select your date, time and number in your party or make an enquiry by sending us through the group details and dates that you will be travelling.

Booking Online:
If there are scheduled dates shown on our website, then select one that is good for you, tell us how many people (places) you want to book. Book and pay online. We will send you an email confirmation with the joining instructions for your experience.

Making an Enquiry:
If there is an enquire button then this means our local partners (guides) are fairly flexible and we want to make sure that they can making the times that work for you. . Let us know when you want to join in an experience, how many people you want to book for, and fire away with any questions you may have. We will find the answers and provide an email confirmation with a link for you to get booked on.

Where do Not In The Guidebooks operate?
We are launching in Cape Town, Sydney, Galle and Edinburgh, but we will be rapidly building operations into other new hubs. We are building a collective of local Ambassadors and Experience Partners who are committed to finding the very best local things to do. We promise that you will get to explore the world through local eyes.
